Please contact Father Stuart Meyer for more information by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children’s Liturgy Group
St. Anthony’s Children’s Liturgy Group meets on the second Sunday of the month at the 9:30am mass. All children are welcome. We pray together and learn about the gospels. The liturgy group is an extension of the mass for children so respect and good behaviour is encouraged from all the children (and adults!) who attend the liturgy group.
Let us pray that God will help us to love one another. Amen.
French Speaking Prayer Group
A group of French speaking people meet up in Church every Friday at 7.30 p.m. to pray. All are welcome to join in. They have interpreters available for those who do not speak French. Please come and see this energetic prayer group singing beautifully.
The Union of Catholic Mothers
The objective of this parish group is to help Catholic married women to appreciate the Sacramental character, responsibilities and permanence of marriage and to live in unselfish love observing the laws of God and His Church. The group also assists to bring up their children as practicing Catholics and public-spirited citizens. They teach and defend Christian values in family life and ensure for their children Catholic education. They offer love, sympathy and practical help to the families in difficulty. They also help foster vocations in life, especially in Christian Marriage and Family life and in the Priesthood and Religious life. The group meets every 3rd Monday of the month at the Parish Centre. New members are always welcome.
Please contact Mrs Wasula Frost via the Presbytery.
The Knights of St Columba
The Knights of St Columba are an Order of Catholic Laymen dedicated to the Service of the Church and fellow man. The Organisation, which is non-political and essentially democratic, exists to support the mission of the Catholic Church and at the same time to work for the spiritual and material good of its members and their families. In accordance with the Social Teachings of the Catholic Church, members will diligently work for the Moral and Social Welfare of our Country and in particular to help young people develop in the likeness of Christ. Members of the Order will strive to achieve these aims through the fundamental virtues of Charity, Unity and Fraternity. The K.S.C. is not a secret society. The Order is completely open and potential members may attend meetings. Admission ceremonies often take place in Church during Mass. The Knights of St Columba meet on the 3rd Friday of the month at 8pm in the Parish Centre.
Please contact the Presbytery for more information.
