FUNERAL OF FR SUNITH NONIS

        ITINERARY OF  EVENTS 

 

TUESDAY 20TH MAY

6.15PM:  Fr Sunith is returned to the Parish.

6.30PM: Parish mass for Fr Sunith.  Principle celebrant – Fr Rick McGrath.

7.45PM – 9.30PM: Reception in the school hall.  This will be an opportunity for parishioners to pay                                                 their tributes to Fr Sunith.

There will be an overnight watching vigil in church from after the reception through to Wednesday morning.  If you wish to be part of this vigil, please add your name to the list at the back of the church.

 

WEDNESDAY 21ST  MAY

09.30 – 10.30AM: Stations of the Cross.

10.30 – 11.30AM: Rosary.

11.30 – 12.00 NOON: Silent, private prayer.

12.20 – 12.30PM: Fr Sunith will be taken on his final journey from the parish to St George’s Cathedral, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7HY, for his funeral mass at 2.00pm.

Parishioners wishing to attend the funeral mass at the Cathedral, will need to make their own travel arrangements.  The mass will be live-streamed on YouTube https://youtube.com/live/SURmpjRPjNw?feature=share

The burial is strictly private and for family only.  Parishioners will be advised at a future date the place where Fr Sunith has been laid to rest.
