Jubilee of Hope
Welcome to St. Anthony’s Church
We kindly ask that you respect our Parish Church guidance:
¨ Please turn off your mobile phone when you enter the Church.
¨ Please remember that many parishioners like to pray before and after the mass so please be respectful and keep talking/noise to a minimum.
¨ People displaying any symptoms of Covid, Flu or Norovirus should stay at home and not travel to church or participate in person.
¨ The use of face masks is a personal choice.
¨ Holy Communion can now be received on the tongue or on the hand and The Sign of Peace can now be carried out with handshakes (if you so wish).
Mass times:
Mondays to Saturdays: 9.30am (and 7.30pm on Tuesdays);
Sunday Masses: 6pm (Saturday evenings); 9.30am; 11.15am and 5.30pm.
Adoration and Benediction: Every Friday at 7:30pm
Stations of the Cross: Mondays (after 9.30am Mass) and Fridays at 7.30pm
Please note that after every week day mass (except Saturdays) The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for 30 minutes so that parishioners can pray for world peace.
The Angelus
The Angelus will be said every Saturday at 6pm, before the evening Mass, and after the 11.15am Mass on Sunday.

Sunday Teas: The next Sunday teas will be served by the following groups:
6th April: Knights of St Columba or UCM
13th April: The Parish Pastoral Council
20th April: The Union of Catholic Mothers or KSC
Recently Deceased: Please pray for the soul of Madeleine Mann and Steven Lally. The details of their funeral are to follow.
May their souls rest in peace.

Stations of the Cross: During Lent the Stations of the Cross will be on Mondays after the 9.30am Mass and on Fridays at 7.30pm.
Gift Aid Boxes: Please collect your Gift Aid Box from the back of the Church.
Diocese Pilgrimage for this year, the Jubilee of Hope: Please save Saturday 7th June as the date of Diocese Pilgrimage to Aylesford Abbey. Further details are to follow.
Easter 2025: Details of Holy week and the Easter masses will be shared in due course.
CYM Bromley Deanery Lent Youth Retreat Day with the new Southwark Mission Team at St James the Great RC Church, Community Centre, Lakeswood Road Petts Wood BR5 1BJ on Saturday 5th April 11am-6pm followed by Youth Mass. An enriching day filled with Lenten reflection, craft activities, music and song, prayer, adoration, games and pizza. For those aged 7-16. Spaces are limited. Mass in Celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage, July 12th, at St George’s Cathedral: If you are celebrating your 1st/10th/25th/40th/50th/60th + wedding anniversary this year, please let us know as soon as possible, and no later than the middle of May, providing the following details: your names in the format John and Mary Smith, your home address, your parish, and the anniversary you are celebrating, so you can receive an invitation from the Archbishop for the renewal of vows during Mass. Building a Better Marriage (BABM) – Jubilee 2025 Pilgrims of Hope: The day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm and is free to attend. To join please contact Carole on 07983 524 727 or email mflkent@rcaos.org.uk

The Way of the Cross, an Easter Service in Betts Park: The Friends of Betts Park have again invited the local churches and the community to take part in The Way of the Cross, an Easter service in Betts Park on Saturday 19th April 3.30pm to 5.00pm. The service follows the scriptural Stations of the Cross that help us walk in the steps of Jesus on his way to the Cross. We walk around the park with a volunteer carrying a life-size wooden cross and stop at different points for a Bible reading, a prayer and a short time for reflection, finishing with a short celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Recycling/Decluttering: Mary’s Meals are collecting the following items: Jewellery & watches: In any material even if damaged or broken; Electronics – Mobile phones/iPads/Tablets/Sat-Navs/MP3 players/Games consoles; Cameras – Old film/Digital/Video; Foreign Currency – From any country, the currency can be old/recent, we take it all.
Currently Mary’s Meals feeds over 2.4 million young children one good meal every day in their place of education – by giving Mary’s Meals the above items you can help feed the next hungry child.
Please remove all sim cards/data from mobiles/ipads. All recycled items will be picked up by a third party, ‘Recycling for Good Causes’ who will ensure all data is wiped. Please give your items in a bag to Father Sunith and he will pass the items onto Mary’s Meals.
Thank you to all those people who help support the Parish: Those who help in whatever way, serving on the altar, being a catechist, reading at Mass, cleaning the Church, arranging flowers, helping with Parish events or general help in the background. All are thanked for their generous help and support.
If you would like to book a Mass, there are envelopes at the back of the church.
